Softball Recap: Valley Vista Monsoon vs. Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions

Valley Vista extended their losing streak to ten on Monday, dropping their season record down to 5-18 in the process. They came up short against the Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions, falling 25-0. The Monsoon were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mountain Lions apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2018.

As for Mountain Ridge, they moved to 15-9 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. The result was nothing new for the Mountain Lions, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.
