Basketball Recap: Poland Comes Up Short

After flying high against Sacopee Valley last Thursday, Poland came back down to earth. The Poland Knights received a blow on Saturday as they fell 60-42 to the Lake Region Lakers. The Knights have struggled against the Lakers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Poland's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Lake Region, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.

Poland will venture away from home to challenge Cape Elizabeth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Region, they will face off against Waynflete at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
