Basketball Recap: Logan Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last three games, Logan finally came back down to earth on Saturday. They were outmatched by Fort Sumner/House and fell 53-25. The contest marked the Longhorns' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Despite the loss, Logan still got an impressive performance from Marilyn Moreno, who posted seven points and three blocks. Moreno has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times she's played.

Logan's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Fort Sumner/House, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season.

Coming up, Logan will head out to challenge Grady at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fort Sumner/House does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
