Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Columbine). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Denver South Ravens 49-20. The Rebels might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by 21 points or more this season.

It was another big night for James Basinger, who rushed for 91 yards and four touchdowns on only ten carries. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Donohoe, who rushed for 73 yards and a touchdown.

Columbine was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 323 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 229 rushing yards in eight consecutive matches.

Despite the loss, Denver South saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Elijah Hargrove rushed for 100 yards on only nine carries. Those 100 rushing yards gave Hargrove a new career-high.
