Warrenton came into Friday's matchup looking for another win against Holt, but Ivan Dean wouldn't allow it. The Indians came out on top against the Warriors by a score of 24-14 on Friday with plenty of help from Dean, who rushed for 109 yards and one score, and also threw for 134 yards and a pair of TDs. He has become a key player for Holt: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

The victory got Holt back to even at 3-3. As for Warrenton, their defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holt will host St. Francis Borgia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Warrenton, they will take on St. Charles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 30.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
