The Antelope Titans will challenge the McClatchy Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Antelope was handed a heart-breaking two-run loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Cordova on Thursday. The Titans were the clear victors by a 17-6 margin over the Lancers. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Titans considering their two-run performance the contest before.

Mary Jimenez was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with four RBI, one run, and one double. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Alivia Page, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Antelope hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are 5-1 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Meanwhile, McClatchy got the win against Grant on Thursday by a conclusive 11-4.
Lily Arbizo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI.
In other batting news, Jayeliza Rogers was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Samantha Apostolos was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
McClatchy pushed their record up to 13-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Antelope, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Antelope hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .340. However, it's not like McClatchy struggles in that department as they've averaged .376. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
