Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bishop Kelly). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat the Skyview Hawks 64-0. The win was just business as usual for the Knights, who after six games remain undefeated this season.
Bishop Kelly's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Eli Lynes, who rushed for 80 yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Avella, who threw for 129 yards and three TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing.
Bishop Kelly's run defense was locked in: Skyview could only muster 2.3 yards per carry. While three picked up at least one total tackle, Jackson Kite-Powell stood above the rest. He picked up a sack and made one tackle. Bishop Kelly didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.4.
