Basketball Game Preview: Neah Bay Red Devils vs. Naselle Comets

The Neah Bay Red Devils are taking a road trip to face off against the Naselle Comets at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Neah Bay knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Naselle likes a good challenge.

On Wednesday, Neah Bay humbled Clallam Bay with a 73-37 victory. The Red Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 22 points or more this season.

Taholah typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Naselle proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 68-57 win over the Chitwhins.

Neah Bay is also on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season. As for Naselle, their record now sits at 10-6.

Neah Bay came up short against Naselle in their previous matchup back in February of 2022, falling 65-59. Can Neah Bay avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
