Basketball Recap: Flint River Academy Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Flint River Academy extended their home winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jamir Muhammad. The Flint River Academy Wildcats blew past the Lafayette Christian Cougars, posting a 60-28 win thanks in part to Muhammad, who almost dropped a double-double on 26 points and nine rebounds. He also grabbed five steals, which is notable because Flint River Academy is 9-4 when he posts at least five steals, but 2-3 otherwise.

Cole Riner was another key player, putting up seven points in addition to 12 boards and six steals. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8.1 rebounds per game.

Flint River Academy is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Lafayette Christian, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Flint River Academy will take on St. George's at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lafayette Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
