Virginia Academy's tournament run continued when they took on Providence on Thursday. The Patriots blew past the Panthers 4-1. The result was nothing new for Virginia Academy, who have now won nine contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Sabrina Castellanos and Emme Kuykendall scored all four of Virginia Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 56 goals.

Meanwhile, Fairfax HomeSchool fell victim to Immanuel Christian and their airtight defense on Thursday. They lost 5-0 to the Warriors. Fairfax HomeSchool haven't had much luck with Immanuel Christian recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Fairfax HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Virginia Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0-1.

Virginia Academy took their win against Fairfax HomeSchool when the teams last played back in March of 2023 by a conclusive 11-1 score. In that game, the Patriots amassed a halftime lead of 8-0, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Monday.
