The Johnson Central Golden Eagles simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Magoffin County Hornets 78-51 with plenty of help from Shepherd, who en route to 28 points and four steals. His evening made it ten games in a row in which he has scored at least 18 points.
The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Rose, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 12 boards. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 8 rebounds per game.
Johnson Central has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 83.8 points over those games.
