Softball Game Preview: Lee Ganders vs. West Brook Bruins

The Lee Ganders will venture away from home to challenge the West Brook Bruins at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lee is coming into the contest on a six-game losing streak.

Lee fell victim to Barbers Hill and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 17-0 to the Eagles.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West Brook). They walked away with a 14-11 victory over Nederland on Monday. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Bruins considering their one-run performance the match before.

The team relied heavily on Keyunna Thomas (2026), who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Kya Hadnot (2025), who scored three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

With the win, West Brook broke their six-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-9. As for Lee, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8-1.
