Baseball Recap: Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats vs. Handley Tigers

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Trinity Presbyterian had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They beat the Handley Tigers by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 14-3. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Patton Mitchell made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. Mitchell was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.

In other batting news, Fleming Hall was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Blake Moses, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI and one run.
