Central has gone 3-0 against Greensboro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. After both having extra time off, both will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Central and six for Greensboro.

Central's usually-dominant defense will be looking to make up for Saturday's struggle, when Murphy offense got past them. Central might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting Murphy an easy 56-34 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered since November 9th.

Airre'Ale Norfleet put forth a good effort for the losing side as she went 6 for 9 on her way to 15 points.

Meanwhile, Greensboro took a blow against Greene County last Friday, falling 52-18.

Greensboro's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Central, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-8.

Everything came up roses for Central against Greensboro in their previous matchup back in November, as the squad secured a 62-9 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Central since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
