Basketball Recap: Des Arc Comes Up Short

Des Arc was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Carlisle Bison, falling 44-22. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 47-23 back in January.

Des Arc's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Carlisle, they pushed their record up to 16-11 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Des Arc will take on Brinkley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Carlisle, they will square off against Cross County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
