Basketball Recap: Englewood Takes a Loss

Englewood lost against Arrupe Jesuit back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Englewood Pirates had to suffer through a 57-30 loss at the hands of the Arrupe Jesuit Generals. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Christina Molina was Englewood's leading scorer, having posted ten points.

Englewood's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Arrupe Jesuit, their victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Englewood has already played their next contest (against Middle Park), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Arrupe Jesuit will face off against Alameda at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Arrupe Jesuit has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
