Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only James F. Byrnes walked away with it. They never let the River Bluff Gators get on the board and left with a 15-0 win on Wednesday. Considering the Rebels have won 17 matches by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

James F. Byrnes' victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-3. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for River Bluff, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-12-2.

James F. Byrnes does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for River Bluff, they will take on Blythewood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bengals' pitching crew has only allowed 3.7 runs per game this season, so the Gators' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
