It was a good run, but Iroquois unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 46-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lake Shore Eagles. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Redhawks came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 124th, while the Eagles are ranked 430th).

Iroquois' defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-2. As for Lake Shore, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Iroquois will host Pioneer at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Shore, it'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Lake Shore Eagles face off against the Frontier Falcons at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
