The Meadows School Mustangs will square off against the Boulder City Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

The Meadows School is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight games on Friday. They took a blow against Virgin Valley, falling 63-12. The Mustangs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-6.

Although The Meadows School took the loss, they still got scores from Ethan Cardenas and Ethan Schneiderman.

Meanwhile, Boulder City played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 44-8 loss at the hands of Moapa Valley. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost seven in a row.

Boulder City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for The Meadows School, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

The Meadows School took a serious blow against Boulder City when the teams last played back in September of 2023, falling 43-13. Thankfully for the Mustangs, Gage Hopkinson (who threw for 334 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 13.4 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 52 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time.
