Volleyball Game Preview: Flagler Panthers vs. Kiowa Indians

The Flagler Panthers will take on the Kiowa Indians in a tournament on Saturday.

On Friday, Flagler didn't have quite enough to beat Caliche and fell 3-2.

Flagler wouldn't go down easily and took Caliche into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-19, 20-25, 25-22, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Kiowa made easy work of Miami-Yoder on Friday and carried off a 3-0 win. The Indians haven't had any issues with the Buffaloes recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-8, 25-20.

Flagler's loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Kiowa, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.

Flagler beat Kiowa 2-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2023. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
