Recap: Wheeler Mustangs vs. Shamrock Irish
Make it nine blowout wins for the Wheeler Mustangs this season. They really took it to Shamrock for the full four quarters, racking up a 70-25 victory on the road. With Wheeler ahead 39-5 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Levi Ashurst was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Barrett Meadows, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Wheeler has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which lines up perfectly with their 18-6 record this season. As for Shamrock, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-16.
Wheeler will be playing at home against Wellington at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Wellington is coming into the game hot, having won their last 14 games. As for Shamrock, they will head out on the road to take on Quanah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
