Basketball Game Preview: Middlebury Tigers vs. Enosburg Falls Hornets

Middlebury and Enosburg Falls are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2019, but not for long. The Middlebury Tigers are taking a road trip to face off against the Enosburg Falls Hornets at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. Middlebury will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

Last Tuesday, Middlebury earned a 35-27 win over Vergennes.

Meanwhile, Enosburg Falls took a blow against Missisquoi Valley on Tuesday, falling 67-34. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their matchups with the Thunderbirds: they've now lost six in a row.

Enosburg Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Middlebury, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8.

Middlebury didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Enosburg Falls when the teams last played last Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 55-50 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Middlebury since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
