Baseball Recap: Bradley Tech/Milwaukee Arts Takes a Loss

Bradley Tech/Milwaukee Arts extended their losing streak to three on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 0-3 in the process. They came up short against the Milwaukee School of Languages Hawks, falling 25-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against Milwaukee School of Languages this season, with their most recent defeat being a 11-1 loss on Tuesday.

As for Milwaukee School of Languages, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1. That 25 run margin sets a new team best for them this season.

For Milwaukee School of Languages' part, Brewer Larkee was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Larkee was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

In other batting news, Milwaukee School of Languages got a massive performance out of Anthony Barwick, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one double. Barwick continues to improve, besting his previous run total in each of the last three games he's played. John Froiland also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Bradley Tech/Milwaukee Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Milwaukee School of Languages, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Milwaukee Riverside at 5:00 p.m. The Tigers will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each match than the last.
