Volleyball Recap: Animo Robinson Takes a Loss

Animo Robinson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Sotomayor Wolves. Considering the last time the Monarchs couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

Animo Robinson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Sotomayor, their win bumped their record up to 6-10.

Looking ahead, Animo Robinson will be playing at home against Neuwirth Leadership Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Boxers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Monarchs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Sotomayor, they will head out on the road to challenge Marquez at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last four games the Gladiators have played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
