Fort Frye had won five straight games and Tyce Beardsley did his part to make it six on Friday. The Cadets breezed past the Marietta Tigers to the tune of 35-0 for which the team can thank Beardsley, who rushed for 142 yards and one score on only 12 carries, and also picked up 47 receiving yards and one touchdown. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.

Fort Frye's win bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Marietta, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Coming up, Fort Frye will challenge Warren at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Warriors will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last. As for Marietta, they are taking a road trip to square off against Point Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Big Blacks' rather soft defense (which has allowed 41.17 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
