Baseball Recap: South Lakes Takes a Loss

South Lakes fell victim to Chantilly and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Chargers. The Seahawks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Chargers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

South Lakes' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chantilly, their victory bumped their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, South Lakes will be playing at home against Herndon at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Chantilly, they will head out to challenge James Madison at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warhawks' pitching crew has only allowed 1.3 runs per game this season, so the Chargers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
