Soccer Game Preview: Sheboygan North vs. Arrowhead

The Sheboygan North Golden Raiders will face off against the Arrowhead Warhawks on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Sheboygan North is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Germantown a 4-0 shutout. Given Sheboygan North's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked seventh, while Germantown are ranked 44th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sheboygan North hit Germantown with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Luke Krugel (2), Owen Post, and Alejandro Barojas-Diaz.

Meanwhile, Arrowhead strolled into their game on Saturday with an undefeated record and they left with the same. Everything went their way against Hartford as they made off with a 3-0 victory. Give Arrowhead's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Arrowhead's win bumped their record up to 18-0-1. As for Sheboygan North, their victory bumped their record up to 15-2-2.

Sheboygan North came up short against Arrowhead in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Golden Raiders avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
