Basketball Recap: Campolindo Takes a Loss

Campolindo and Northgate squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Campolindo had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Northgate Broncos by a score of 57-54. The Cougars have struggled against the Broncos recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Despite the loss, Campolindo still got an impressive performance from Luke Devine, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. That's the most points Devine has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ren Marchetti, who earned ten points and three steals.

Leading Northgate to victory were David Harris and Brady Gray. Harris almost dropped a double-double with 18 points and nine boards, while Gray had 13 points. Harris is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Nico Martin was another key player, putting up eight points.

Campolindo's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Northgate, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.

Campolindo does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Northgate, they have already played their next contest, a 66-53 loss against Amador Valley on the 21st.
