Basketball Recap: Pace Comes Up Short

Pace lost against Clinton School back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Pace lost to Clinton School at home by a 43-26 margin. The contest marked Pace's lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Kate Stanley was her usual excellent self, putting up 28 points for Clinton School. The game was Stanley's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Alessandra Stotz, who posted seven points and 16 rebounds.

Pace's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Clinton School, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Pace will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Economics & Finance at 4:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Clinton School, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bard at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
