Baseball Recap: North Johnston Takes a Loss

Bunn hit North Johnston with a four-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Panthers fell 6-1 to the Wildcats. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

North Johnston saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Seth Scott, who went 2-for-4 with one double.

North Johnston is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-7. As for Bunn, they pushed their record up to 20-2 with the win, which was their tenth straight on the road.

North Johnston wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Wilson Prep on the 28th. As for Bunn, they have also already played their next game, an 8-7 win against Southern Nash on the 29th.
