Basketball Recap: Lakeside Makes It Six in a Row at Home

Lakeside had won five straight home games and Payton Futch did her part to make it six on Monday. The Lakeside Rams walked away with a 49-40 victory over the Lake Hamilton Wolves thanks in part to Futch, who went 7 of 17 en route to 20 points along with eight rebounds and six steals. That makes it 12 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Lakeside's points.

Lakeside is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Lake Hamilton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-8.

Lakeside didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 56-37 win against Arkansas on the 28th. Lake Hamilton has also already played their next game, a 53-14 victory against Pine Bluff on the 28th.
