Soccer Recap: Greene County Takes a Loss

Greene County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They fell just short of the Poplarville Hornets by a score of 1-0. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Hornets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Greene County's loss dropped their record down to 1-6-2. As for Poplarville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-5-1.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Greene County challenge the Moss Point at 7:00 p.m. on December 12th. As for Poplarville, they will challenge Bay at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Bay will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Poplarville surely won't give up without a fight.
