Football Game Preview: Boscobel Bulldogs vs. Iowa-Grant Panthers

Boscobel is 0-8 against Iowa-Grant since September of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Bulldogs will host the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. Boscobel has given up an average of 55.1 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Boscobel's offense might be in the hot seat on Friday considering what happened against Riverdale on Friday. They were dealt a 42-0 loss at the hands of the Chieftains.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Iowa-Grant, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They snuck past River Ridge with a 34-30 win on Friday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Panthers considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

Boscobel better keep an eye on Sam Lundell. He was instrumental in Iowa-Grant's win, picking up 137 receiving yards and three scores. Those 137 receiving yards gave Lundell a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brock Hinderman, who threw for 306 yards and three TDs.

Iowa-Grant didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Landon Friesen and Calvin McHone. Friesen got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Iowa-Grant's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Boscobel, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Boscobel was dealt a bruising 50-13 loss at the hands of Iowa-Grant when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Thankfully for the Bulldogs, Gavin Hinderman (who rushed for 28 yards and three touchdowns, and also picked up 63 receiving yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time.
