Baseball Recap: Clarion-Limestone Comes Up Short

Clarion-Limestone lost against Clarion Area back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Lions lost 16-2 to the Bobcats. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Clarion-Limestone saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kohen Kemmer, who went 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. That triple was Kemmer's first of the season.

Clarion-Limestone's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Clarion Area, they pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Clarion-Limestone didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-0 victory against Johnsonburg on the 24th. As for Clarion Area, they have also already played their next matchup, a 12-2 loss against Punxsutawney on the 25th.
