The Brawley Wildcats will take on the Imperial Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brawley is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.9 runs per game this season.
Brawley's tournament run continued when they took on Shadow Hills on Thursday. The Wildcats walked away with an 8-5 win over the Knights.

Giovanni Guerra looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. What's more, he posted two strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
At the plate, Sergio Garcia was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one double. He has become a key player for Brawley: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 5-10 otherwise. Jon Angel Aguirre was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.
Brawley was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Imperial fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Southwest EC last Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 12-11. The Tigers have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.
Imperial got a massive performance out of Jacob Milan, who went 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Izaiah Perez, who got on base in four of his five plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
Brawley is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight games. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-11 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Imperial, their loss dropped their record down to 10-9.
