Basketball Recap: North Nodaway Comes Up Short

North Nodaway lost against Worth County back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Mustangs were dealt a 55-20 defeat at the hands of the Tigers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mustangs have suffered against the Tigers since February 11, 2021.

Leading Worth County to victory were Caleb New and Brock Healy. New posted 23 points along with seven rebounds and three steals, while Healy put up 20 points and four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan Smith, who scored three points in addition to five boards and three steals.

North Nodaway's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, North Nodaway will face off against Stewartsville at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Worth County, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Northeast Nodaway at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
