Basketball Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 17th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the East Feliciana Tigers, falling 40-1. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-28 back in January.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 0-15. As for East Feliciana, they pushed their record up to 14-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northeast will host Central at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for East Feliciana, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Istrouma at 6:00 p.m. on February 12th.
