Liberty came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Pleasant Hill Wolves. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolves, too.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Liberty was: they took both sets by at least 14 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-4.

Among those leading the charge was Aiyana Torres, who had six aces. Those six aces gave her a new career-high. Andi Mixer also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Liberty was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 2.9 aces per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 5.2.

Liberty's record is now 11-7. As for Pleasant Hill, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Liberty has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Hamilton/Warsaw on the 25th. As for Pleasant Hill, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Calhoun on the 29th.
