Soccer Recap: Sullivan East Falls to Elizabethton in First Game of Season

Sullivan East unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 5-0 to the Elizabethton Fighting Cyclones on Tuesday. The Patriots have struggled against the Fighting Cyclones recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meetings.

The victory made it two in a row for Elizabethton and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1.

Looking ahead, Sullivan East is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game this season: they will take on Sevier County at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Elizabethton, they will host Portland at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
