Peetz and Briggsdale are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2018, but likely not for long. The Bulldogs are taking a road trip to take on the Falcons at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. Peetz is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

Peetz came up short against Caliche on Monday, falling 17-10.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Falcons on Monday. Briggsdale came out on top against Front Range Baptist by a score of 19-14.

Scot Francis was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. He is becoming a predictor of Briggsdale's success: when he allows at most two earned runs the team is 2-1 (and 1-2-1 when he doesn't). Francis was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Jeremiah Sparks was incredible, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in doubles (two). Another player making a difference was Cash Haun, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4.

Briggsdale kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

The win got Briggsdale back to even at 3-3-1. As for Peetz, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Everything went Peetz's way against Briggsdale in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Peetz made off with an 8-1 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
