Cosby faced Midlothian in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Titans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trojans. The Titans' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Cosby's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-3. As for Midlothian, they pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
