League recap: Leggett throws longest pass in league this season for Triton

Jeremy Leggett and Deangelo Harris provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Overhills. The connection was good for 54 yards, the longest such play in 3A Conference 13 this season.

Cleveland was the team made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to third in the league. Earlier in the week, the Rams triumphed over Garner Magnet 45-44.

Triton's dynamic duo of Leggett and Harris proved tough for the Jaguars to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Leggett threw for 220 yards and 4 touchdowns and Harris had 63 yards receiving. Deon Newkirk helped Triton's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 48 yards.

The Hawks' dynamic duo of Leggett and Harris proved to be unstoppable against Overhills, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.

Aaron Farmer provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Cleveland beat the Trojans. He completed 9 passes for 183 yards and 2 touchdowns and also ran for 167 yards. Farmer's favorite target this week was Greg Tyler, who caught 2 passes for 53 yards.

Tim McNeill was a key player and the best on defense this week as Triton defeated Rodney Barr's team. He.

Leggett put up the best numbers in passing as Ashley Ennis' team topped the Jaguars.

Isaac Martin was a force in the backfield as Marc Morris' team beat Garner Magnet.

He was 10-16 with 1 interceptions.

Harris was the best receiver in the league this week as the Hawks topped Overhills.

Martin was the most successful running back in 3A Conference 13 this week. He ran for 263 yards on 34 carries as the Rams bested the Jaguars.

The leading receiver in the league this season is Taiquan Dixon. The Cleveland star has 10 catches for 150 yards.

Corinth Holders scaled the state rankings by moving to 171 from 205 this week, the biggest jump in the league. Corinth Holders was able to make move up by falling to Clayton 16-14.
