Delphi Academy had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Admiral Farragut BlueJackets. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the BlueJackets recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

The victory didn't come easy: Admiral Farragut scored at least 21 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 26-24, 23-25, 25-22.

Admiral Farragut's loss came despite strong showings from Makayla Berlin and Tula Morin. Berlin had 12 digs, while Morin had 16 assists and four blocks. Berlin is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

Delphi Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against First Academy on the 22nd. As for Admiral Farragut, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Sarasota Military Academy on the 21st.
