Benton waltzed into their match on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Cedar Creek Cougars by a score of 9-4. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Benton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-5. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Cedar Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-10.

Coincidentally, Benton and Cedar Creek will both be playing Captain Shreve the next time they take the field. The Tigers will host the Gators at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
