After both having extra time off, the Dreher Blue Devils and the Camden Bulldogs will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Dreher is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.6 runs per game this season.
Dreher came out on top against Richland Northeast last Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run first inning. The Blue Devils blew past the Cavaliers 15-2. The Blue Devils haven't had any issues with the Cavaliers recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Rory McCormack made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, Anna Coates and Kendall Gipson did most of the damage at the plate: Coates went 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI, while Gipson went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Elle Lockard, who went 2-for-4 with four RBI and one double.
Dreher kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Camden was not able to break out of their rough patch last Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against A.C. Flora, falling 9-3.
Maddie Stokes spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and seven unearned) runs on 11 hits.
On the hitting side, Camden saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Audri Phillips, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Dreher's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Camden, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
