Softball Recap: East Noble Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

East Noble and Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but East Noble had to settle for second. They came up short against the Saints, falling 9-3. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 11-3 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

East Noble saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nevaeh Crossley, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI. Another was Shaye Ritchie, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with one run.

East Noble moved to 19-8-1 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak. As for Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-9.
