The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Candlelight Christian Academy in their matchups with the Lions: they've now lost five in a row.

Candlelight Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alejandro Hernandez, who shot 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds.
