Softball Recap: Valley Christian Trojans vs. River Valley Dust Devils

Valley Christian entered their tilt with River Valley with 14 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 15. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the River Valley Dust Devils a 2-0 shutout on Wednesday.

Not much got past Leigha Kremlacek, who gave up just five hits and racked up 11 Ks to keep River Valley off the board. Kremlacek has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances.

At the plate, Valley Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryann Nelson, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.
