Basketball Recap: Cambria Heights Comes Up Short

Cambria Heights was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss dating back to last season. They were dealt a 79-36 defeat at the hands of the Central Cambria Red Devils. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Highlanders of the 56-26 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Cambria Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Central Cambria, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Cambria Heights wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 60-22 loss against Conemaugh Township on the 8th. As for Central Cambria, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 54-51 defeat against Bishop McCort on the 8th.
