Recap: Trillium Academy vs. Star International Academy Falcons
Trillium Academy have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 31 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 65-19 victory over Star International Academy on the road. The victory was familiar territory for Trillium Academy who now have five in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Trillium Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaylin Bradford, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. Bradford has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times he's played. Another player making a difference was Keymarryon Fishburn, who scored 16 points along with five rebounds.
Trillium Academy's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-1. As for Star International Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Trillium Academy will head out on the road to face off against Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Charyl Stockwell Preparatory Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Michigan Rankings (they are ranked 625th, while Trillium Academy is ranked 116th). As for Star International Academy, they will stay at home for another game and welcome Riverside Academy West at 6:30 p.m. on January 16th.
